The Headquarters Branch Library will host The Holocaust Museum & Education Center of Southwest Florida’s travelling Boxcar Exhibit from April 30th to May 14th. On May 2 at 10am, Holocaust Survivor Pieter Kohnstam will speak of his family’s WWII escape to avoid persecution by the Nazi regime. They left Nuremberg, Germany, for Amsterdam, where they lived in the same apartment complex as Anne Frank’s family. David Nelson, the Museum's Education Assistant, has been diligently working clues on the trail of a mystery. As a Genealogist, David was intrigued by the contents of one of the letters featured in our Fall 2015 exhibit, The Faktor Investigation. He has been researching the life and family of Kurt Kriszhaber, a Faktor relative imprisoned in an internment camp in Australia during World War II.
