    Each year, the Museum, in conjunction with the Florida Department of Education State Task Force on Holocaust Education, presents an in-depth seminar for teachers. Participants receive teaching materials they can use in their classrooms when teaching about the Holocaust, including books, DVD’s and lesson plan aides. Speakers, field trips and meals are included in the cost to attend.

    Time:   9:00am – 3:00pm each day
    Open to: anyone with current teaching certification

    “Planning the Invasion of Japan” – is the fourth and final lecture in Military Historian Darren Moran’s quarterly series, the focus changes to the Pacific theatre of World War II. He outlines the challenges presented by this area’s geography, and the impact on strategic planning.
