Student Art & Survivor Presentation

Please join us to celebrate three extraordinary student artists who submitted the winning pieces for the Holocaust Museum’s annual Student Art Show. Following the awards presentation, Holocaust Survivor Cesare Frustaci will share his personal history as a child in Hungary during World War II.  Cesare’s new book, Not a Trace of Smoke, chronicles his experience as a young boy hiding to survive. A book-signing will follow Cesare’s presentation.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day

The United Nations chose January 27 as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The date was chosen to commemorate the day in 1945 when the first concentration camp was liberated by the Russian army.  2015 marks 70 years since the liberation.   The Holocaust Museum is pleased to present the first in a series of documentaries in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.  The series, entitled “We Testify”, includes segments of the Oral/Visual History interview with several of our local Holocaust Survivors…
