Join Executive Director, Amy Snyder, as she shares a story from the current exhibit, Picturebook History: Telling the Story to Children. Highlighted on December 6th will be "The Journey That Saved Curious George".  Children will be invited to learn about husband and wife, Hans & Margaret Rey, the original creators of Curious George.  The couple were Jewish refugees from Europe during WWII. Please join us on Sunday, December 20th to hear from Naples resident and author, Maggie Gadsby.  Maggie's book, Owl Be Home for Christmas, is featured in the Museum's current exhibit, Picturebook History: Telling the Story to Children. Maggie will share about her inspiration for the story, which personifies an owl family as they deal with the husband/father serving his country during WWII. We are pleased to continue the popular lecture series by Museum Docent Elliott Katz. Elliott is well known for his in-depth knowledge of the Holocaust and World War II. Four morning lectures will be held from 10am - 12pm at the Naples Daily News building's Community Room.
