Quarterly Holocaust Survivor Lecture Series
Local Southwest Florida resident, Steen Metz, will share his family’s experience during World War II at the Theresienstadt Concentration Camp. Though a young boy during his ordeal, Mr. Metz will talk of his vivid memories of deportation from Denmark, arrival at the camp, and the eighteen months his family spent there. He will also describe the journey home after Liberation in 1945, and what awaited them.
Join us to hear about this remarkable story of survival and triumph over adversity. Following the lecture, Mr. Metz will host a Q & A period with the audience.
