OneBook Southwest Florida – Mark Weitzman Presentations

A Personal Perspective on Simon Wiesenthal and His Lessons for Today

Mark Weitzman, the Director of Government Affairs and the Director of the Task Force Against Hate and Terrorism for the Simon Wiesenthal Center will be the keynote speaker for this season’s OneBook Southwest Florida programming.

Mr. Weitzman, who knew Simon Wiesenthal, is the Chief Representative of the Wiesenthal Center to the United Nations in New York and a member of the official U.S. Delegation to the International Holocaust Remembrance Authority, where he chairs the Committee on Antisemitism and Holocaust Denial. In addition to serving on numerous committees and organiztions, Weitzman is a long-time member of the official Jewish-Catholic Dialogue Group of New York.
